Florida Bridge Cathodic Protection Projects (2013 – 2016)

Bonner Bridge Jacking and Staging (2008)

ESE was hired to assist a contractor needing a jacking and staging plan to perform repairs on Bonner Bridge located in North Carolina.

The jacking plan was designed to raise the bridge to allow the restoration contractor to make repairs to the bearing surfaces.

The staging design needed to be practical, affordable and easily assembled in the field.  The design was unique in that ESE used “off the shelf” trusses and joists to design a lightweight floating swing stage that was then hoisted and pinned into position.  The structure was light enough to float but robust enough to hold restoration debris, personnel and materials.
